I’ve finally managed to put a new layout up at the gallery – what do you guys think? It features a gorgeous picture from Evan’s latest photoshoot for Flaunt magazine – I’m currently trying to get hold of pictures for the gallery! I’m also still adding plenty of images from Evan’s earlier public appearances, as well as some lovely portrait sessions, so check those all out too.

I’ve added a further 110 HQ images of Evan from the recent Swarovski Opening, as well as scans from her shoot for the September issue of Black Book, and the first few promotional stills from True Blood. I am also in the process of filling up the gaps in the public appearances section of the gallery – so far I have added loads of additional pics from 2001-2003, with more on the way!

When Even Rachel Wood makes her True Blood debut in the August 30 episode, there will be… well, obviously, blood.

“Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her” character, Louisiana’s blood-sucker boss lady, Queen Sophie-Ann, says series creator Alan Ball. “She’s very powerful, capricious and most likely insane.”

Oooh, we love her already. So it’s a good thing she “has more than one secret agenda,” he teases, “which we will slowly become aware of over season 3.”

Actress Evan Rachel Wood is so obsessed with Vladimir Nabokov’s controversial novel Lolita she has a huge collection of heart-shaped sunglasses, just like the ones the author’s heroine, an alluring teen temptress, wears.

Her literary love also inspired ex-lover Marilyn Manson, who penned the song Heart-Shaped Glasses in tribute to his girlfriend.

She says, “My apartment is covered with different kinds of heart-shaped glasses. My goal was to bring them back.”

Finally, a clip of Evan in her upcoming appearance on HBO’s True Blood has surfaced at this year’s Comic-Con! She doesn’t show up until the very last few seconds of the clip, but Evan looks amazing – can’t wait for her episodes!
