“Live! with Regis and Kelly” Interview

On Monday, Evan was on Live! with Regis and Kelly talking about The Ides of March. Check out the interview below! Also, Evan has just tweeted that she is on her way to Chelsea Lately, so as soon as I get hold of that interview, I’ll post it to the site as well. Enjoy!

Evan Covers Bieber Again!

On last night’s show of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Evan once again showed her amazing singing skills by covering another Justin Bieber track! Check it out below:

TheONECampaign: “The F Word”

Obviously, it’s not what you think, but this new PSA to draw attention and response to the deadly drought and famine in Somalia will launch on the internet and TV across the U.S., as well as in localized versions in the U.K., France and Germany. The appeal is also accompanied by a petition.

Those in the fast-moving spot include a lot of people from politics and entertainment you might never imagine in one ad — or room — including ONE co-founder Bono of U2, singer and poet K’naan, Mike Huckabee, Mayor Bloomberg, Arianna Huffington, Jenna and Barbara Bush, George Clooney, Clive Owen, Jessica Alba, Christy Turlington Burns, Kristin Davis, Idris Elba, Colin Farrell, Joe Jonas, Liya Kebede, Annie Lennox, Justin Long, Rob Lowe, Ewan McGregor and Evan Rachel Wood. The spots were directed by Jesse Dylan, whose videos include the Emmy Award-winning “Yes We Can” Barack Obama campaign video collaboration with will.i.am.

“The Ides of March” Clip: My Name is Molly

Tomorrow marks the start of the Venice Film Festival, which will kick off with the world premiere of George Clooney‘s “Ides Of March.” It will be the first of the unseen Oscar contenders to get out of the gate, and within twenty-four hours its narrative in the award season will be largely determined.

If you can’t make it, the Lido Yahoo has offered up the first taste from the film outside of the trailer, with a scene between Ryan Gosling —who plays Stephen Myers, a twenty-something presidential campaign spinmeister/wunderkind— and Evan Rachel Wood, an intern for Myers’ campaign who also has eyes for him. The scene is a pretty charming one, with Gosling’s suave offensive hardly saving face for his character, who has completely forgotten who Wood is. The underrated Wood brings some zest of her own to a part that looks a lot more well rounded than it might seem on paper. But will the film overall be Oscar caliber stuff? We’ll soon know.

After playing Venice, ‘Ides’ will go to Toronto before opening on October 7th. Clip below.

Check out this awesome video of Evan simply belting out a cover of Justin Bieber’s ‘U Smile’ whilst in Beijing! I have also found her covering Janis Joplin’s ‘Piece of My Heart’ – she sounds fantastic!
