I’ve just come across the synopsis for the next few episodes of True Blood, and Sophie-Anne finally makes another appearance! It looks as if her storyline is coming into play now, at last. I’ve put the loglines for the five August episodes (#31 – #35) beneath a cut to make sure no-one gets spoiled – read at your own risk!

We’ve already offered our suggestions on who should play Peter Parker and who should direct the new “Spider-Man” movie, but there’s an element of the equation we haven’t addressed yet — Mary Jane Watson.

While she doesn’t quite have the same crimefighting chops that Spidey sports, Mary Jane is nonetheless an integral component to the “Spider-Man” mythos, even if current comic book continuity speaks to the contrary. It’s possible that the new series could forego MJ and put Gwen Stacy in her place, but my gut says that the redheaded bombshell will still have a prominent role in the recently announced reboot.

EVAN RACHEL WOOD: Assuming she’s still playing the role in the upcoming “Spider-Man” musical, there’s really no reason not to turn towards Wood, as she’ll already have had plenty of practice playing Peter’s true love. As long as she doesn’t spend all of her time singing in the new series, I think this would be a great pick.

I still want to wait for confirmation from either Evan or Manson’s reps, but thanks to Nicola’s tip, I had a look around on Manson’s MySpace, and came across what looks like Evan’s facebook page (as it’s #1 in his Top Friends!). In the album ‘Crazy Diamond’ there is a picture of a ring….

Reports are coming in that Evan has gotten engaged to Marilyn Manson. Nothing has been confirmed by either rep though, so I’m holding out til I get some confirmation!

Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The shock-rocker reportedly proposed to the “True Blood” actress while he was performing on stage in Paris on Monday, according to reports. Rumors have been swirling for days about the famously on-again, off-again couple’s engagement.

Reps for both Manson and Wood have remained mum on the subject.

Manson, 41, began dating Wood, 22, in 2006 but the couple broke up in 2008. They briefly reconciled, then split again before getting back together.

Last year, Manson revealed that he was so devastated over his breakup with Wood that he obsessed about the actress and called her incessantly. After they worked things out, Manson was quoted by the Herald Sun as saying that Wood has helped him be a better person.

“Me being me at my best is what I need to be,” he said at the time. “That really paid off because I’m back with Evan.”

Wood, for her part, described Mason to Elle magazine in 2007 as a “lovely, really human and just amazing. It may surprise you just how healthy and loving our relationship is.”

Manson was previously married to burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese.

Marilyn Manson and ex-girlfriend Rachel Evan Wood are back together.

The shock rocker confirmed the news to the magazine Metal Hammer.

“That’s kind of breaking news,” he said. “You can be the first one to say that.”

The reunion is a surprise, considering Manson told Spin.com over the summer that he had “fantasies every day about smashing [Wood’s] skull in with a sledgehammer.” He even dedicated the song “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in The Movies” off his “High End of Low” album to his ex.

The odd-ball duo began dating in 2007, but split in ‘08. They briefly reunited earlier this year.

Manson – real name Brian Warner – is 19 years older than Wood.

During their split, Wood was romantically linked to Shane West and her “True Blood” co-star Alexander Skarsgard.

Manson told Metal Hammer his change of heart is what’s best for him.

“Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new,” he said. “But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being at my best [is what] I need to be. I think that that really paid off because I’m back with Evan.”

Wood appeared in Manson’s 2007 video for “Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)”.

Halloween is nearing and Evan Rachel Wood has told Just Jared on what costume she will don on the day. “I’m going to be Liza Minnelli in ‘Cabaret’ with the bowler hat and stockings, the green nail polish,” said the movie beauty at Gucci Icon-Temporary Flash Sneaker Store in New York City on Saturday night, October 24.

Presented with question if she will be doing a little song and dance too, she said “Probably. I do love karaoke!” On where she will celebrate the annual holiday, the 22-year-old star revealed, “I think I’m going to be in L.A., but I might come to New York because there’s nothing like Halloween in New York.”

“Cabaret” is the 1972 film version of the Broadway musical of the same title. The film witnessed Liza Minnelli starring as Sally Bowles, a role that earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress and catapulted her to international stardom.
