A Case of You (2013)
When George Clooney directs a film, it either ends up scoring six Oscar nominations (2005?s Good Night and Good Luck) or turning into a flop (2008?s Leatherheads). But you’ve got to credit the guy for assembling interesting casts. Now New York magazine’s Vulture blog is reporting that Clooney is set to cast Paul Giamatti, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, and Chris Pine for his upcoming political drama Farragut North. (Clooney’s rep confirmed the news to EW.) Clooney himself is said to be taking a small role in the film as well.
This all raises two questions in my mind. 1) Is this the coolest cast of all time or what? And 2) Can you believe Hoffman and Giamatti have never worked together before?
